I was lucky to be invited to sample some of the various aspects that will be available later in the year.

The teams setting up this project are extremely enthusiastic and friendly and without doubt do their best to motivate and assist clients to get the very best out of each type of break.

Eating healthily mainly around the famed Mediterranean is a good place to start along with some easy Pilates or morning stretch sessions to set you up for a very healthy breakfast.

Healthy holidays

A healthy start to the day a gentle warm up in Malaga with Silverspain.

No weird grass shakes just great fresh fruit, nuts and a balanced yet nutritious start to the day. Eggs, cereals and croissants with no one ticking you off for taking a slice of ham or cheese if you just fancy that!

Further exercise like delightful walks in the forests and river valleys or the delightful white painted villages that surround much of Malaga. Maybe some beach games with the other members of the group all part of gently getting you moving really without you noticing. Followed by dining on some freshly caught seafood grilled the Spanish way.

Strolling around the delightful villages around Malaga.

For the keener and regular fitness types there are specialist breaks planned for those too. Also for customers who have a more spiritual outlook then there are breaks for them as well.

Hotels to be used are of individual boutique style or are 4 star and above plus are in great locations either by the beach or in stunning quiet rural areas.

Even watching dancing and horsing riding demonstration gives you a boost in the day.

The different types of breaks have one thing in common a desire to give each person the chance to understand where they are in their life.

Given that life expectancy is going up all the time having an overall healthy attitude to life in general is a terrific boost to help even more with an active ageing philosophy.

Also it is there to provide their clients with some great pointers in order to help them not just live longer but have happier healthier lives after the experience.

Espetos fresh sardines, right  cooked on a wood fired grill with other fresh fish in Malaga.

 Did it work for me?

I enjoyed many of the programmes that they set out. Helping to cook a giant paella at a wine bodega, walking through avocado and mango plantations, spending time at an Arabic style hammam, eating locally grown fresh walnuts.

Add in watching some elegant Flamenco dancing and Spanish horsemanship demonstrations. Dining with edible flowers and washing it down with the odd glass of Rioja.
