Enchanted Princess Passes Her Sea Trials
Carnival Cruise Corporation PLC have just released pictures of their latest ship Enchanted Princess completing her sea trials in the Mediterranean.
Carrying when full 3,660 passengers which in the current Covid19 climate could be optimistic?

The Royal-Class ship was built in the Fincantieri ship yard in Monfalcone, Italy. At 145,000 gross tonnes and 330 metres in length, she is the 5th ship in this class.
During the Covid19 lockdown in Italy the construction phase was delayed for a while. The ship has undergone her sea trials and could come into service before the end of the year.
The Enclave will be able offers great facilities after Covid19 has passed.
Stunning new facilities on board like that of ‘The Enclave’. Which is home to Princess’ largest-ever thermal suite and hydro-therapy pool with a cascading rain shower and therapeutic air jets. Heated stone beds or soothing water beds.
Other facilities on offer are ‘The Hammam’ Turkish-style steam bath. And from Roman times, the Caldarium, a light steam chamber. Also, the Laconium, which is a heated, dry chamber to help with purification and detoxification.
Some of the new and top-class spa facilities in the short term may not be available because of Covid19 restrictions. Which are affecting the beauty industry currently.

Away from the spa, adult-only areas under the name of The Sanctuary. Here a private getaway in an exclusive retreat section to enjoy light meals and drinks.
The ship will feature what they describe as a ‘breathtaking Piazza’. Inspired by the vibrant squares of Europe this central area will feature, street performers, quaint boutiques. A spiral staircase and several glass-walled lifts will provide panoramic views of the lobby.

Entertainment plans include a chance to relive the roots of jazz. With a live trio performing brilliant classics and telling tales of true jazz legends throughout the ages. Called ‘Take 5’ it will showcase vintage footage, iconic imagery. Add in intimate conversations that will transport you to the heart of the jazz era.
French bistro-style dining with a modern twist is served at Bistro Sur La Mer. Created with Chef Emmanuel Renaut who holds the prestigious title of ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’ (Best Craftsmen of France). Holding three Michelin stars Chef Renaut is creating a tantalizing menu. he will be showcasing authentic French dishes crafted with the Chef’s signature flair.

Each Sky Suite can host up to five guests. An almost panoramic view can be had from the extensive 270-degree balcony from the upper of the upper decks. Interior wise an exquisitely appointed interior living space for those lucky passengers. A wrap around 1,000-square-foot balcony, the largest at sea. Ideal, to relax privately or host your own mini celebrations or events.

At the other end of their accommodation scale is one of their inside cabins or stateroom. This is the most affordable options. These staterooms are the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Featuring either two twin beds or a queen-size bed options. Improving the room specification even more is a refrigerator, hair dryer, TV, closet and bathroom with shower.

Somewhere in between the two? Perhaps, a ‘Mini-Suite’ with balcony. Making it substantially larger than a Balcony stateroom. Perks like a complimentary welcome glass of Champagne on arrival. Mini-Suites do include a separate sitting area with sofa bed. Here too, not only one but two flat-panel televisions in the suite.
