She has often been to the county and it is of course the home of King Charles village Poundbury village near to Dorchester.

The Queen Dies Some Dorset Memories
Her doctors have issued a special statement to say she has died. Buckingham Palace Press Office is responsible for issuing any statements. A notice is usually placed on the railings of the palace.
She died at the Royal estate of Balmoral in Scotland.
She came as Queen for first came to Dorset in 1952.

1998 Queen Elizabeth school was visited. 2004 saw her visit the RNLI training base in Poole. Also she was at Bovington Army camp in 2009.
