Norwegian Bliss Update On Her Cruise Programme

Norwegian Bliss update for her cruise programme which should be starting now in January 2021.

Recently it was thought to be starting in mid December.  However, the latest news is that her cruise schedule will start on January 3rd!

Currently this record breaking ship is waiting for that cruise action to start again. Waiting at Portland Port, Dorset in the UK.

Although she is some 8,500 miles away for her starting point. She is looking in great condition.  And was being bathed yesterday in some British Winter sunshine before she will have to head off to Los Angeles.  Which is where her cruise work should be starting in the New Year (2021).

Norwegian Bliss update now for her cruise programme.

Returning to the USA will mean a repeat of her cruise ship record breaking feat.  This being the largest cruise ship to negotiate the newly widened Panama Canal.

According to the public relations company for Norwegian Bliss. The first sailing in January 2021 will be a 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise, visiting Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. The sailing with depart from Los Angeles, California.

NCL Statement: Norwegian Hope There Will Be No More Voyage Suspensions

And to clarify the situation in reference to the recent push back of dates the company have issued this statement:

“Our voluntary suspension of global cruise voyages currently includes all sailings through Dec. 31, 2020.  At this time, we do not have any further voyage suspensions to announce and sailings from January onwards remain bookable via our usual channels. We continue to evaluate the situation and will share additional known suspensions as soon as possible. We remain optimistic and hope to relaunch cruise operations in the near future.” – Spokesperson Norwegian Cruise Line

Prices start from £990 per person, based on two people sharing, for a Balcony room. Sailing will depart on January 3rd 2021 and return on Sunday 10th January 2021.

After the initial trips from Los Angeles to Mexico the ship is due to head North and start a programme of Alaskan focussed trips.

The ship built two years ago has an observation lounge located at the front of the ship.  And even a mini car race track built over two levels at the stern.  Two very different ways to entertain you.

Other itineraries listed include trips to destinations like new England and Canada. As well, as the Caribbean and again back through the Panama Canal.
