MULTI-TASKING MODEL FOR THE NEW HILTON BRAND

At your service Hampton by Hilton
Is this hotel model the way forward for yet more?
The Hampton by Hilton brand with around a dozen properties in the UK with yet more to come seems to be getting it right in the hotel mid price range.
Offering a great overall experience, with contemporary spacious rooms, service from multi-tasking staff, limited food and beverage, however included is a breakfast and hotel wide Wi-Fi.
Visiting the then newest and largest in their chain at Waterloo Road in London this style of hotel seems to be providing exactly what customers in this price range require.
Hampton by Hilton Waterloo.
I imagine that the research that they carried out into how customers use hotels is now being confirmed to them by the take up they are now experiencing.
This purpose built hotel of 297 rooms is situated a few hundred metres from Waterloo station making it perfectly situated for the city business user or the tourists wanting to access the delights of London’s South Bank area.
Rooms and in fact the whole hotel seem to be awash with electrical sockets this result seems like it comes from their research too. Identifying the requirements of the modern customer travelling these days is key. Leaving in all the important things and leaving out the fancy things that do not get used or are wanted.
One thing I hate in hotels are those attached coat hangers in wardrobes they are fiddly to use and in this day and age surely now one needs to steal coat hangers. I am pleased to say they use the normal hook over type so well done them!
Most have plenty of points to charge mobile phones and laptops.
The chain is expanding in the UK with new ones being opened every few months often near to transport hubs stations and airports.
