Heathrow Luggage Breakdown Yet Again

As a travel writer I have ended up in the middle of major luggage failure today at London’s Heathrow Terminal 5.

A massive luggage handling fault at T5 Heathrow as dozens of flights left without passengers hold baggage.

Many international flights were certainly affected at the same time too.

There were suitcases all over the check-in area at T5.

Latest Luggage Failure At Heathrow

I checked in my suitcase some 7 hours before my flight left for Inverness yet it still did not turn up in Scotland later yesterday.

This is yet again another major baggage outage at London’s principle airport.

Personally spending time in the Highlands with little more than the clothes I traveled in is not a great situation.

There was certainly a lack of info coming from both BA and Heathrow.

There has been a series of luggage handling problems at the airport some reported July 2025 also July 2022.
