Set right on the harbourside of this famous Cornish fishing port, many of the rooms look right over the main inner harbour and over too the many fishing boats that tie up there. The rooms are above a large pub and restaurant and are decorated in a charming seaside and maritime style. They are clean bright rooms and have modern furniture. Some rooms are directly over the pub so there is some noise migrating from there at times. The second floor rooms would be much quieter. The location is perfect though; right in the middle of this bustling but small tourist town… a few steps and you’re on a trawler! Food in the attached Pescadou restaurant is excellent, very well presented and cooked whether dinner breakfast time or lunch. Nestling within sight of the open sea at the mouth of the tranquil Camel Estuary, Padstow, in Cornwall, has always been a thriving fishing port and commercial centre for north Cornwall.
