Delightful tradition British style bed and breakfast accommodation set right in the middle of the fishing village of Lynmouth, North Devon. Run by a lovely couple that really care for their guests and send them off every morning with a great “full English” style-cooked breakfast. With views over the East Lyn river for most of the guests it has a real charm and cottage feel in the rooms, some do have ensuites. The South West Coastal path runs very close and it is very popular with walkers. Its also popular with dog owners, so well behaved dogs are made welcome too. It’s on the boundary of Exmoor National Park, which again puts Hillside House in a great location for that tourist attraction. Nearby water-powered cliff railway to Lynton and visit the Valley of Rocks. Wordsworth, Coleridge, Southey and Shelley (who honeymooned here in 1812) were all inspired by the area, and the beauty and serenity they found can still be found today in this unspoilt and magical corner of England.
