Came across these two young guys tagging at Gatwick North Terminal with some stunning brand artwork!
The North Terminal is undergoing some development work and these young artists have been drafted in to keep the customers entertained by both the giant murals and also by their talent of seeing them at work and perhaps show just how this art form can be used in a positive way.
Nice job Gatwick! The two young guys will get through as many as a 100 tins of spray paint as they work there way along the temporary panels as the building work goes on behind them.
Plans at Gatwick are for the development and expansion of a second runway that would help the airport to compete much better than it currently can with its single runway.
The airport are waiting for the pubishing of a report by Sir Howard Davies who is investigating on behalf of British Government where any extra runways for London should be built.
The decision he makes could make a huge difference for the airport and its effeciency the development of the the Gatwick North Terminal will help to improve passenger flow and their experience but a second runway will make a huge change for not only Gatwick but for the whole area south of London.
Now that the General election has taken place and a Conservative Government has been elected the decision that Sir Howard Davies has to make for them could come as early as July but even then it could be delayed even further.
Maybe the young spray can artists will be asked back by airport boss Stewart Wingate if Gatwick gets the go ahead for the runway.
Perhaps they could take on a giant one that can only be read from above by passengers taking off with the words ‘our runway goes here’!
