Being involved in the travel blogging and travel photography it often takes you in directions that are not strictly travel per se!
But who could turn down a great chance to get out to sea in a brand new Fairline 53GT motor cruiser on a hot sunny day and thrash it up and down the Solent for a couple of hours and be paid for it?
As it turned out getting paid has turned into a nighmare as the company is now refusing to to do just that!
Wanting the images in a hurry was not a problem for me and I was happy to copy them to a memory stick so they could have access to the pictures staright away.
About a month later and still no payment they very kindly informed me that their company was to be placed into CVA where basically your debt is put on hold and over months, years sometimes you are paid but in stages just a faction of the original debt.
Its so dissapointing that what would appear to be a multi-million pound company could not find a few hundred pounds to pay for services they have already had the use of and are currently using extensively!
Based near Peterborough rather some distance from the sea in the UK which is certainly rather a different approach as most boat builders are naturally based near to the coast and perhaps a bit too far from a bank as well!

Costing around I guess the £800,000 mark, they could somehow not find a few hundred for me they deserve to be awarded total tossers of the year!
